Penetration testing, carried out by our specialists
A penetration test is different from our automated assessment. Our specialists actively look for weaknesses in the systems you choose and show you what they found – within a scope you agree, on dates you agree, and only with your confirmed authority to test.
Automated assessment or penetration test?
| — | Website assessment | Penetration test |
|---|---|---|
| Carried out by | Our platform, automatically | Our specialists (people) |
| Method | Ordinary page requests only – no attempt to break in | Active testing of the agreed systems, as described in the agreed scope |
| Scope | Your verified website, up to your package's page limit | Agreed with you before any testing |
| When it starts | Once the payment is confirmed and the website is verified | Only after you accept the quotation and we agree the dates with you |
| Price | Fixed price per assessment | Quoted individually after scoping |
| What you receive | Consolidated report in your account (EN/CS) | Written report uploaded to your account |
What a penetration test includes
- Scoping: you describe which systems you want tested; we confirm the exact scope, environment and dates with you.
- Testing by our specialists, only within the agreed scope and dates.
- A written report with the findings, the evidence behind them and recommendations, uploaded to your account.
- If you want, help with fixing what was found – quoted separately.
What it does not include
- Anything outside the agreed scope is not tested.
- It is not a certification, and it cannot prove that no other weaknesses exist.
- Fixes are not included in the price of the test.
What we need from you
- Confirmation that you own the systems or are authorised by their owner to commission the test – you confirm this when you send the request.
- A website verified in your account (the same DNS check as for assessments).
- A contact person who can be reached during the testing dates.
- Informing your hosting or service providers where their terms require it.
How it works
Request
In your account, describe what you want tested and confirm your authority to test.
Scope and quotation
We review the request, contact you if anything needs clarifying, and send a quotation with the exact scope, deliverables and price.
Your decision
Nothing happens until you accept that exact quotation. You can decline at no cost.
Dates
We agree the testing dates with you. Testing can only start within those dates.
Testing
Our specialists carry out the agreed tests.
Report
The report is uploaded to your account, where you can download it at any time.
What the price depends on
Every penetration test is quoted individually, once we understand the scope. The main factors are:
- how many systems, applications or environments are included;
- their size and complexity, for example login areas, user roles or interfaces;
- how much specialist time the agreed depth of testing needs;
- timing constraints, such as testing only outside business hours.
The quotation states the total price and the VAT treatment. A website enquiry or a payment never starts testing on its own.
Request a penetration test
Requests are made from your account, so they are tied to your verified website and your authority to test is recorded.
Online penetration test requests are not open yet. Contact us at [email protected] and we will get back to you.
